🧠 Skills & Tools

Over the past 5+ years, I’ve built a hands-on DevOps skill set driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and a love for automation.
I didn’t start with a certification — I started with “how does this actually work?”

☁️ Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) – EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, ELB, CloudWatch, Lambda, Secrets Manager, ACM, SNS, ASG
  • Kubernetes (EKS) – Cluster setup, node groups, autoscaling, RBAC, pod security, IRSA with OIDC
  • Terraform – Reusable modules, remote backends, multi-env IaC, modular patterns
  • Helm – Custom charts, advanced templating with range/if, multi-stage deploys
  • Docker – Multi-stage image builds, optimized Dockerfiles, integrated with CI
  • NGINX – Ingress Controller setup, TLS with ACM and Cert Manager
  • GitLab Runners – Secure self-hosted runners in Kubernetes using IAM roles and service accounts

🔄 CI/CD & Automation

  • GitLab CI/CD – Dynamic pipelines for multi-env Kubernetes deployments
  • GitHub Actions – Infra automation, Docker builds, PR-based workflows
  • Jenkins – Scripted legacy support where needed
  • ECR – Automated Docker image workflows
  • ArgoCD – GitOps experiments (currently learning)

📈 Observability & Monitoring

  • Prometheus + Grafana – Cluster metrics, alerting, dashboards
  • EFK Stack – Fluentd → Elasticsearch → Kibana log aggregation
  • AWS CloudWatch – Logs, metrics, alarms, dashboards
  • Datadog – APM & synthetic monitoring (project-dependent)

🔐 Security & Identity

  • IAM – Role-based access with least privilege
  • OIDC + IRSA – Secure pod access to AWS
  • Secrets Manager + CSI – Runtime secret injection into pods
  • Cert Manager + ACM – TLS automation and renewals

🤝 Collaboration & Work Philosophy

  • 🧩 Problem-solver with production troubleshooting experience
  • 🚀 Automation-first mindset — less toil, more reliability
  • 🧠 Self-driven learner — always exploring new tools
  • 🗣️ Clear communicator who enjoys mentoring and dev team support
  • ⚖️ Balances speed, security, and scale

🧰 Other Tools & Daily Drivers

  • Linux, Bash scripting, tmux, kubectl, htop
  • Packer – Legacy AMI workflows
  • CloudFront + S3 – Static website deployments
  • Git – Feature/staging/prod branching strategies
  • VS Code – My daily IDE
  • CLI: Too many to list — but always terminal-first.

⚙️ I treat tools as tools — not buzzwords. My stack is always evolving, but this is what I use to build secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure every day.
